Flexible Solar Panels

Solar energy is becoming one of the most important and frequently used electric power sources these days. A variety of solar products are present in market which include solar panels for charging. Solar panels are basically the foundation of any photovoltaic system.  They absorb sunlight due to which silicon which is their basic part emits electrons and electric current is produced in response.               These panels are manufactured by a process called “thin film deposition”. This process implies a semiconductor substance like silicon on to a thin flexible substrate. This flexible substrate will help the silicon to become flexible also which will allow it to bend, fold or flex. Using such a flexible panel requires only unrolling the panel, placing it into the sunlight and then connecting our gadgets to this system. They are manufactured for charging a variety of devices such as

2. Laptops.
3. Marine and RV batteries.
4. Devices which operate at 6 volts or 12 volts.
5. MP3 players.
6. Digital cameras.   

             There are also some manufacturers which produced solar bags with flexible solar panels. Solar panels are mostly convenient for the surfaces which are not flat. They are perfect for battery maintenance and saving electricity bills as well. If we want to carry a solar panel with us while traveling in condition like rain then these panels are perfect option for us due to their durability. They are light weight and provide us excellent performance in low light. An array of several flexible panels can easily be used for charging our laptop by the rays of sun. So this is the best option for the people who travel a lot and are fond of hiking and hangouts to charge their gadgets where they don’t have any electric source.
